A Dove and a Sparrow
A Dove and a Sparrow up high in a tree
A pie on a window fresh as can be
The window now open with curtains bright
Created a prize, one worth quite a fight
Both want a taste of that pie on the sill
They both want it all with looks that could kill
They both look in hate at one another
With vengeance and anger like no other
The Dove with a plan, the Sparrow one too
The Dove all done thinking, away he flew
Fly away Sparrow no singing, no dance
Despondent the Sparrow, missing his chance
But what of the Dove and his pie fresh dream
The stupid bird, he flew into the screen
