Influencer
Everything is an influencer.
Every sight and sound one hears or sees.
Even now as you read this,
I push you either closer or further to how I think.
It doesn’t matter, either way I’ve influenced you.
Are you afraid to keep reading or keep smelling?
Did you just remember something?
Well remember this, remember your grass stains.
Have you ever had any? What were they from?
Do you remember why? It doesn’t matter.
I’m either pushing you to what I think or away from it.
You can’t win, or maybe you can’t lose.
It doesn’t matter, you’ve been influenced.
If you hadn’t read this you wouldn’t be thinking
about what you’re thinking about right now.
Deny it if you can, I’ll take your word for it.
There is power in words.
Go ahead tell me what you think.
But, people might laugh if they see you talking to yourself.
