Birds have two wings,
they have all they need.
Now, if a bird wanted three wings,
now that would be absurd indeed.
But play along, and wonder with me,
what would become of a bird,
with wings counting three?
It would flap and flop
and it could not fly or soar.
It would think to itself,
now if only I had four.
And if this request to the bird had been granted,
in honesty the bird would not be slanted.
With balance now achieved
and the bird with wings of four.
Still the bird could never be happy,
until it had some more.
