Now What
Childish ambitions of youth,
From ill knowledge and ignorance.
The fading ambers of realizations made in the bright fire.
Fallen away, who knows of whom and for what cause.
Memories like grass thrown into that fire.
A sprinkle of breath brings a choking gasp.
Your bridge to who knows where, and you grasp the rail.
Your fingers slip, your sweat it flows, you look up?
And you fall.
